Performance Management Frameworks
Research shows organisations that focus on performance and health are more successful. Making effective use of operational and financial metrics is critical to managing business performance. (Fuchs, S., Shehadeh, R., 2017 Creating a high-performance culture. McKinsey). Having a strong and robust performance management framework will help your organisation's governance and accountability.
A Performance Management Framework describes the organisation's performance management and monitoring processes from ward/service/team up to Board.
It should provide a clear description of how the organisation assures itself through its performance, data and information and describe appropriate routes of escalation.

Strategy Development
I have extensive experience in developing strategies for a number of organisations, ranging from contracting and commissioning strategies to partnership and performance intelligence strategies.
Having a clear strategy with achievable objectives and milestones can aid organisations deliver the strategic priorities.
Further to development of strategies I have also developed a number of strategy implementation plans which describe in closer and more prescriptive detail how a strategy will be achieved.

Governance Framework
I produced a Governance Framework for one of the early emerging NHS Provider Collaboratives which described governance arrangements for between the Lead Provider and collaborative partners as well as between the Lead Provider and NHS England.

Business Case development
I have over 15 years experience in developing credible business cases for investment within the NHS ranging from £500k to £12million with a strong track record of securing investment against these business cases.
Examples include securing investment for a Care Homes Therapy service; 7 day A&E Therapy Service; generic investment to forensic services and data warehousing/business intelligence.
